The Grove provides personalised respite care for adults with Learning Disabilities in a welcoming environment where Guests are supported to feel comfortable and at home.

The home is conveniently located close to a range of local amenities, including shops, bus routes, and a park area. The home is tastefully decorated and offers all the modern facilities and comforts you would expect from a welcoming care home.

Our dedicated team is fully trained in supporting people living with Learning Disability and offers a respite break service for them. Staff take the time to understand each resident as an individual. We work closely with residents and their families to ensure their needs, preferences and wellbeing remain at the heart of the care we provide.

The home is supported by external professionals such as dentists, opticians, chiropody as well as district nursing services. The home also has its own hair salon with the hairdresser visiting twice a week.

There is always something to look forward to at The Grove. Activities organised are that of a varied programme which includes almost daily outings on the home’s minibus. This gives residents opportunities to socialise, enjoy new experiences and spend time doing the things they love.

Residents have access to the garden which spans around the building, is fully wheelchair accessible. Residents enjoy gardening and potting seasonal plants. The home also has a separate facility known as The Den, this is used as a games room, cinema, discos and other planned entertainment.  

Senior Carers support colleagues, domestic staff, and maintenance staff work together to keep the home safe, comfortable, and well maintained. Residents are also served nutritious home cooked meals tailored to their dietary needs and personal preferences.

We welcome families and visitors throughout the day; the Manager operates and open-door policy and holds regular relative and residents’ meetings throughout the year.
